Welcome to Peacehaven Tech Services. By accessing or using my services, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully as they outline your rights and responsibilities when engaging with my offerings. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use my services.
- Introduction
Peacehaven Tech Services (โIโ, โmeโ, โmyโ) provides IT support, computer repair, and maintenance services. These terms govern your use of my services, whether on-site, remote, or return-to-base. By using my services, you agree to these terms in full. - Service Availability
I provide IT services in the following areas: Peacehaven, Newhaven, Saltdean, Rottingdean, Ovingdean, and Woodingdean. Remote support is available to all clients, regardless of location, provided they have access to an internet connection. - Pricing and Payment
All services are charged as per my current pricing structure:
- On-site support: ยฃ50 per hour
- Remote support: ยฃ20 per 30 minutes
- Return to Base: ยฃ80 (includes complimentary support when your device is returned)
Payment is required upon completion of work. I accept payment via PayPal or debit card or other methods that may be mutually agreed upon.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule services without penalty if done any time before the scheduled appointment. If a cancellation or rescheduling occurs after the start of the appointment, a cancellation fee equivalent to one hour of service (ยฃ40) will apply. - On-Site Services
For on-site services, I will make reasonable efforts to complete repairs or support within the initial appointment. However, if the issue cannot be resolved on-site, I may offer to continue repairs at my premises (Return-to-Base support) or recommend alternative solutions. Travel time within the service areas listed above is included in the hourly rate. - Return-to-Base Services
For more complex repairs or issues that cannot be fixed on-site, you can opt for return-to-base services. Turnaround times will vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the availability of parts or resources.
All devices are handled with care, but I am not liable for data loss. I advise you to back up your data before submitting devices for repair. - Remote Support Services
Remote support is provided on a per-30-minute basis. You must ensure a stable internet connection during remote sessions. I am not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by unstable connections.
You must provide necessary access to your systems to allow me to deliver effective support. - Confidentiality and Data Protection
I respect the confidentiality of your data and personal information. I adhere to the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Any personal information collected will only be used for the purposes of providing my services. - Warranties and Liabilities
I warrant that I will provide my services with reasonable care and skill. However, I do not guarantee that all issues will be resolved to your satisfaction, especially where hardware or software limitations are involved.
Peacehaven Tech Services is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of services, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits. - Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim related to the services provided will not exceed the total fees paid for those services. - Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information regarding the issue to be resolved.
- Ensuring appropriate access to equipment for on-site or remote services.
- Backing up data before any repair work or support session.
- Termination
I reserve the right to terminate or suspend services immediately if you breach these terms or if I believe that continuing the service would pose a risk to my property, staff, or other clients. - Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. - Amendments
I reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or by posting on my website. - Contact Information
